POOL RULES 2019

New Hope Camp and Conference Center, Inc.  is a Presbyterian sponsored camp and strives to maintain a fun Christian environment.  Passes can be revoked, with or without notice, for anyone who does not comply with the pool rules.

  • Pool passes are issued to a household or individual and are non-refundable.
  • Pool passes are sold on a monthly and/or summer long basis. No day or prorated monthly passes will be sold. Family passes (monthly or summer long) are issued for all members of the same household. Visiting relatives will be considered guests. Individual passes are for one person and all other family members or friends will be considered guests.  The maximum numbers of individuals on a pass are 5 + the pool pass holder. Names should be listed on the online form or paper form in the office.
  • Guests of pool pass holders may pay a guest fee of $5.00 per person. Register all guests; $5.00 per person per Day.  A pool pass holder must accompany guests.
  • The camp speed limit is 10 mph.  This speed limit must be adhered to at ALL times.  Failure to do so will result in immediate termination of pool privileges.

  • Once payment has been received a pool pass will be mailed to address listed on the application. Please allow 1 week for pass to be mailed. You must present a pass to the lifeguard on duty. An online receipt will not be accepted.
  • You may also apply for a pass at the office. All pool passes are only sold through the NHCCC office DURING OFFICE HOURS. Lifeguards are not authorized or prepared to sell pool passes at the pool.
  • Normal operating hours for pool pass holders will be 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 8:30 pm on Saturday and on Sunday 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  (Due to school schedules and staffing there are modified hours in parts of June and August).
  • Adult swim is scheduled every hour for 10 minutes on the 50 minute point of an hour.  Young infants cannot be in the pool with their parent at adult swim.
  • Parking will be near the pool and the playground as well as the parking area near the upper end of playground. Do not drive between the playground and bath house as there are many children playing and visibility is limited. There is a road behind the pool allowing for easier access to parking.
  • Pool pass holders will be allowed only in the area of the pool, playground, and the bathhouse. Please clean up the area of the bathhouse after use.  Please check in to the office prior to using the labyrinth.
  • The back pavilion adjacent to the pool is a rentable facility and its usage is not part of pool pass privileges.  To use this pavilion, reservations must be made and a deposit paid in advance through the office. Pool pass members may use the picnic tables near the playground for meals and snacks.
  • Everyone entering the pool enclosure must sign in at the gate. Be prepared to show your pool pass and proof of identity.  Everyone leaving the pool enclosure must sign out.
  • Shower and/or wash feet before entering the pool enclosure.
  • No food or drinks are allowed inside the pool enclosure. No glass of any kind is allowed.
  • Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and other drugs are prohibited at New Hope Camp and Conference Center, Inc and use of these items at the pool area is grounds for dismissal from the property.
  • No pets are allowed anywhere on the premises.
  • If the need arises to speak to on-duty lifeguards, please stand behind them so that they have a clear view of the pool.  Please keep conversations brief.
  • Profanity, derogatory and/or demeaning comments, improper behavior, and intoxication are prohibited. Pass holders or guests exhibiting these behaviors will be asked to leave the pool and camp property.
  • Horseplay, including, but not limited to, running, splashing, dunking, wrestling, or shoving, is strictly prohibited.
  • Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.  Adults must stay with the children and are responsible for their behavior.
  • No objects of any kind will be thrown inside the pool enclosure.
  • Flotation devices are discouraged; any use of these devices will be at the discretion of the lifeguard.
  • There shall be no diving except in the deep (11 ft) end of the pool along the long wall.  Unsafe jumping or diving in any area of the pool is prohibited.
  • Only the pool staff is allowed in the Lifeguards’ deck locker, guard shack and on the lifeguard stand.
  • Instructions by the lifeguard must be obeyed at all times.  The lifeguard is responsible for the safety of all patrons, and has final authority for enforcement of the rules.  Please do not distract the lifeguard while on an observation post.
