New Hope Service Camp ($365)
Campers can also increase their experience at New Hope Camp & Conference Center during our Hard Work Service Camp. During this session, campers will experience a chance to give back to the local community. Assisted by our Program Director, campers will travel into the surrounding area to perform a variety of home repairs, such as building wheelchair ramps, repairing porches, painting, yard work, and much more. Campers will learn teambuilding, the value of hard work, and helping others and also have an opportunity to grow in their faith through worship and devotions. Our main concern is home repair for low-income families, with our primary goal being to make homes warmer, safer, and drier, while meeting their social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Campers will need to bring work clothes, work gloves and a helpful spirit.

The New Hope Camp and Conference Center Experience
Summer camp at New Hope Camp and Conference Center is a good time for campers and adults to become more aware of God’s world and their part in protecting and caring for it. As we live together and learn together, we will be exploring our relationships with the earth and with each other. Campers will gain a better understanding of respect as they share, grow and learn with one another. Building a community where everyone belongs and is treated as a child of God will be an important part of each week at New Hope Camp and Conference Center. Join us this summer for an unforgettable time of learning and playing together.
Because of our location, we are able to offer programs for day camp drawing upon community resources for sports, art, music, and natural or environmental sciences. We are able to provide ideal camping programs for first time and young participants as well as exciting specialty programs for older, more experienced campers.
The Staff
The entire staff recognizes our responsibility when you choose New Hope Camp and Conference Center for your child’s summer activity. Our summer staff is typically comprised of college students or graduates from area universities. Appropriate role models and a desire to lead young people are two factors we seek in applicants. All applicants go through an extensive screening process, including interviews, to help us assemble a quality, well-rounded summer staff. All counselors, program and support staff are trained in first aid and CPR to provide your child with a fun and safe summer.
Camper Behavior Expectations
Campers are expected to participate cooperatively with their counselors and other campers in the daily activities and duties of the group. Campers are expected to respect each other, staff members, camp, and personal property. Attending camp is a privilege made possible by parents, churches and organizations that want to share God’s love with young people.
