Location & Accommodations

Our facility offers an easy and direct drive from many Triangle and Triad locations and only 30 minutes from RDU International Airport. The Camp's cabins and tent-site areas offer rustic accommodations, while our guesthouses and lodges provide more comfortable, yet basic, housing. All beds have regular twin sized mattresses. Guests provide their own bedding and towels.  Your guests may also choose from the wide variety of hotels and motels in the Chapel Hill and Hillsborough areas, all within a fifteen to twenty minute drive.

Ideas for your Wedding and Reception

The Dining Hall
Capacity - 200 people.
Arrangement Options:
128 seats for a dinner reception: buffet in the center; no dance floor
112 seats for a dinner reception: buffet on each end with space for dancing in the center
64 seats for dinner/refreshments on one end: buffet in the center; large dance floor space on other end

Fleming Lodge
Capacity – 100 people.
Arrangement Options:
80-100 seats for a dinner reception: buffet space on one end; no dance floor space
64-80 seats for a dinner reception: buffet space; limited music/dance floor space
Up to 64 seats for a dinner reception: dance floor; buffet space

Outdoor Pavilion and Field Space
Prefer to have a tent reception? Use one of our two main fields for your party tent setup. Capacity is only limited by your tent size!

Vespers Area
For couples looking for an outdoor ceremony site there is the option of using the Vespers Area of New Hope. This outdoor chapel overlooking our pond is a great choice for a more casual ceremony surrounded by nature. Benches are provided and would seat 50 but rented chairs are a great way to add seating for your guests. If you are using another facility on camp for your reception, there is no charge for having the ceremony in the vesper area.

Local Churches
If you prefer a church ceremony before your reception at NHCCC, we are a short drive from each of our sponsoring churches and a short walk from New Hope Presbyterian Church.

A note about the departure:
As the bride and groom depart from the reception, bubbles may be used in the grass or on mulched areas. Bubbles may not be used on the porches of our buildings. It can create a slick surface and a dangerous situation for your guests. To protect our wildlife, throwing rice is prohibited (cleaning fees will be assessed for violation)!
